about Requirements question
i was wondering, if u put more attribute greater than an items requirement will it have better effects?
like for example if i have a req8 sword & another one with req13, if i was to put 16 in swordmanship, will the lower req sword be better than the other somehow like dealing critical/max damage or something??? also, does hilt like lightning dmg, or fire dmg really help in dealing damage? thanks!!! |

As far as testing has shown, there is no difference between a req 8 weapon and a req 13 weapon in terms of damage or anything else, so long as you meet the requirements to use it.

Elemental hilts are good for two things:
1) Dealing damage to warriors, who have higher resistance to physical damage than elemental damage; 2) Interacting with effects that specify elemental damage, such as Conjure Lightning/Frost/Flame, Spinal Shivers, Mark of Rodgort, and Thunderclap. |

Putting higher attributes of course gives you more damage / duration for that weapon's skills, and I think it increases the critical hit possibility. But as long as you meet the requirement, higher attributes won't increase the normal damage output.

Kindle is weird in that it makes your attacks fire elemental linked automatically. So kindle with a fiery bow string would be the same as if you just used kindle. Same with kindle and an icy string.

If I was using a bow with an elemental string such as fiery, would the damage bypass the armor?
For instance with normal piercing bow, the damage would be reduced by the armor but with a fiery string this damage becomes fire damage so would it ignore armor? |
